Standing on a north facing slope in the sub tropical North of New Zealand, ecoman Malcolm Rands talks about growing your own trees for furniture and flooring.

Malcolm planted his forest in 1993, with three types of eucalyptus hardwoods; Muelleriana (Yellow Stringybark), Botryoides (Bangalay) and Pilulris (Blackbutt – yes really!) 18 years on and the trees are giants; here is your chance to hear more about sustainable forestry and timber.
